Privacy Policy (English)
1. Who we are
Wake Coco ("the app", "we") is a social morning-routine challenge app operated by its developer (Phan Tuong). This policy explains what data the app collects, how it is used, and your choices.
2. Data we collect
- Account: email address and an encrypted password, managed by our authentication provider (Supabase Auth). We never see your plain password.
- Profile: display name, username, avatar photo, date of birth (for age verification), wake-up target time, time zone, language preference.
- Content you create: morning proof photos, chat messages (text, stickers, voice), squad names. Proof photos are stored in private storage and used only to validate check-ins.
- Location (optional, sensitive data): if you turn on the squad map feature, your precise (GPS) location is shared only with members of your squad. Location is treated as sensitive personal data: sharing is OFF by default, we ask for your explicit consent in-app before the first share, you can choose a time limit (15 minutes to 12 hours), and you can turn it off anytime in Settings. You can decline and still use the rest of the app.
- Device data: push notification token and basic device information used for anti-cheat protection (fraud signals).
- Gameplay data: check-ins, streaks, XP, coins, scores, achievements, leaderboard standings.
3. How we use data
- To provide app features: challenges, check-ins, streaks, squads, chat, leaderboards, rewards.
- To prevent cheating and abuse (e.g. validating proof photos, detecting time-zone manipulation).
- To send push notifications you can turn off at any time in system settings.
We do not sell your personal data and the app contains no third-party advertising.
4. What other users can see
Your display name, username, avatar, title/frame cosmetics, streak and scores are visible to other users on leaderboards and inside squads you join. Chat messages are visible to members of the same conversation.
5. Service providers
- Supabase — database, authentication and file storage.
- Expo / Firebase Cloud Messaging — delivery of push notifications.
These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
6. Data retention & deletion
You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account. Deletion removes your personal data (profile, photos, messages); some anonymized, aggregated records (e.g. leaderboard history without your identity) may be retained. You may also contact us by email for deletion requests.
7. Your rights
Under Vietnam's Law on Personal Data Protection (91/2025/QH15) you may at any time: withdraw consent (e.g. turn off location sharing in Settings), restrict or object to processing, access your data, and request deletion (Settings → Delete account, or email us). Send requests to support@wakecoco.com — we acknowledge and handle them within the time limits set by law.
8. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we verify age with the date of birth collected at sign-up. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13; if you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it. For users under 16, a parent or legal guardian must agree to the processing of the child's personal data, as required by Vietnamese law.
9. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Access to data is restricted with row-level security; proof photos live in private storage accessible only to you and review tooling.
10. Changes
We may update this policy; the latest version is always available at this address with an updated effective date.

1. Chúng tôi là ai
Wake Coco ("ứng dụng") là app thử thách dậy sớm có yếu tố xã hội, vận hành bởi nhà phát triển (Phan Tuong). Chính sách này giải thích ứng dụng thu thập dữ liệu gì, dùng ra sao và quyền của bạn.
2. Dữ liệu thu thập
- Tài khoản: email và mật khẩu đã mã hóa, quản lý bởi Supabase Auth. Chúng tôi không bao giờ thấy mật khẩu gốc của bạn.
- Hồ sơ: tên hiển thị, username, ảnh đại diện, ngày sinh (để xác minh độ tuổi), giờ dậy mục tiêu, múi giờ, ngôn ngữ.
- Nội dung bạn tạo: ảnh bằng chứng buổi sáng, tin nhắn chat (chữ, sticker, giọng nói), tên nhóm. Ảnh bằng chứng lưu trong kho riêng tư, chỉ dùng để xác thực điểm danh.
- Vị trí (tùy chọn, dữ liệu nhạy cảm): nếu bật bản đồ nhóm, vị trí chính xác (GPS) của bạn chỉ chia sẻ với thành viên cùng nhóm. Vị trí được đối xử như dữ liệu cá nhân nhạy cảm: mặc định TẮT, ứng dụng hỏi sự đồng ý rõ ràng trong app trước lần chia sẻ đầu tiên, bạn có thể chọn thời hạn chia sẻ (15 phút đến 12 giờ) và tắt bất kỳ lúc nào trong Cài đặt. Từ chối vẫn dùng được các tính năng khác.
- Thiết bị: token thông báo đẩy và thông tin thiết bị cơ bản phục vụ chống gian lận.
- Dữ liệu chơi: điểm danh, chuỗi ngày, XP, coin, điểm số, thành tích, thứ hạng.
3. Mục đích sử dụng
- Cung cấp tính năng: thử thách, điểm danh, chuỗi, nhóm, chat, bảng xếp hạng, phần thưởng.
- Chống gian lận (xác thực ảnh bằng chứng, phát hiện xoay múi giờ...).
- Gửi thông báo đẩy — tắt được bất kỳ lúc nào trong cài đặt hệ thống.
Chúng tôi không bán dữ liệu cá nhân và ứng dụng không có quảng cáo bên thứ ba.
4. Người dùng khác thấy gì
Tên hiển thị, username, avatar, danh hiệu/khung trang trí, chuỗi ngày và điểm số của bạn hiện trên bảng xếp hạng và trong nhóm bạn tham gia. Tin nhắn chat hiển thị với thành viên cùng cuộc trò chuyện.
5. Nhà cung cấp dịch vụ
- Supabase — cơ sở dữ liệu, xác thực và lưu trữ file.
- Expo / Firebase Cloud Messaging — gửi thông báo đẩy.
Các bên này chỉ xử lý dữ liệu thay mặt chúng tôi, không được dùng cho mục đích riêng.
6. Lưu trữ & xóa dữ liệu
Bạn có thể xóa tài khoản bất kỳ lúc nào tại Cài đặt → Xóa tài khoản. Việc xóa gỡ bỏ dữ liệu cá nhân (hồ sơ, ảnh, tin nhắn); một số bản ghi tổng hợp đã ẩn danh (vd lịch sử bảng xếp hạng không kèm danh tính) có thể được giữ lại. Bạn cũng có thể email cho chúng tôi để yêu cầu xóa.
7. Quyền của bạn
Theo Luật Bảo vệ dữ liệu cá nhân (91/2025/QH15), bạn có quyền bất kỳ lúc nào: rút lại sự đồng ý (vd tắt chia sẻ vị trí trong Cài đặt), hạn chế hoặc phản đối việc xử lý dữ liệu, truy cập dữ liệu của mình, và yêu cầu xóa (Cài đặt → Xóa tài khoản, hoặc email). Gửi yêu cầu tới support@wakecoco.com — chúng tôi tiếp nhận và xử lý trong thời hạn luật định.
8. Trẻ em
Ứng dụng không hướng tới trẻ dưới 13 tuổi; độ tuổi được xác minh bằng ngày sinh khai lúc đăng ký. Chúng tôi không cố ý thu thập dữ liệu của trẻ dưới 13 tuổi — nếu bạn cho rằng có trường hợp như vậy, hãy liên hệ để chúng tôi xóa. Với người dùng dưới 16 tuổi, việc xử lý dữ liệu cá nhân cần có sự đồng ý của cha mẹ hoặc người giám hộ hợp pháp theo quy định pháp luật Việt Nam.
9. Bảo mật
Dữ liệu được mã hóa khi truyền (HTTPS/TLS); truy cập dữ liệu bị giới hạn theo hàng (row-level security); ảnh bằng chứng nằm trong kho riêng tư.
10. Thay đổi
Chính sách có thể được cập nhật; bản mới nhất luôn ở địa chỉ này kèm ngày hiệu lực mới.
